Abstract :
The advances in electronics allow the integration and design of new medical technologies, lots of them used for patient monitoring in order to improve medical diagnoses looking for a better quality of life. In this paper the design of a holter is described using the Bluetooth technology as its wireless communication, the prototype is developed considering battery operation and that the system could be used with any mobile device that supports Bluetooth, data storage and the user interface.
