  • Abstract
    As the system low level heat source when defrosting, a phase change heat storage device is introduced to air source heat pump system. The performances of heat storage and release of the phase change materials are investigated by comparative experimental study of the traditional defrosting and the heat storage defrosting. The defrosting parameters include: the temperature of the set points of indoor and outdoor heat exchanger, the phase change time and temperature, the compressor suction pressure and power, etc. The results show that the phase change heat storage defrosting can reduce defrosting time about 30%, increase compressor suction pressure, improve heating quality and ensure defrosting reliability.
