            Abstract : 
The ultrafast magnetization dynamics induced by femtosecond laser pulses involves several coherent mechanisms described in this tutorial. They include the spin-photon, the spin-orbit and the spin-lattice interactions occurring from a few femtoseconds to several picoseconds.
