  • Abstract
    This paper presents an automatic electrocardiographic signal acquisition system and a processing method developed by the authors. The system was intended to estimate the possibility for electromagnetic interference reduction in case of electrocardiography (ECG) signal acquisition and to extract the HRV modification exposed the to the electromagnetic field generated by the electrosurgical units (ESU). The aim of the present study is to compare the acquired ECG signal with the ECG signal during exposure to the ESU and to highlight these changes.
