Adaptive stimulation algorithm used in computer assisted auditory education

The paper presents an adaptive algorithm to be used in the process of automated auditory education for hearing impaired persons. We propose this technique because we believe that the computer based therapy brings many benefits to both the patient and the specialist: The specialist receives an efficient tool that helps him in his work while the hearing impaired, using a computer software implementing the algorithm, is given the chance to practice both at home and at the cabinet, thus reducing the time spent in therapy.
