Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present a study and design for a new type of wind system. This kind of wind system has a special type of wind turbine: wing oscillating wind turbine, which has flapping wings instead of screw blade. This wind turbine has also a pendulum, which oscillate with a low frequency. The oscillations are maintained by the wind, which will amplify the oscillation amplitude in both senses: up and down, and will increase the oscillation energy. This oscillation energy will be extracted by an oscillating linear electric generator consisting in a fixed coil and a moving permanent magnet. In the paper, a design methodology and the manufacturing technology of a small prototype of an wing oscillating wing system and of the oscillating wind generator are presented. The FEM magnetic field analysis of this oscillating wind generator is also presented.
