Abstract
Road line type identification is very important in aspects of road status investigation, optimum design of road, collection and management of road information, 3D modeling and safety analysis of road, etc. This paper mainly introduces a new method of Road Line Type Identification, as follows: we firstly extract line type of every grouping coordinates data of road centerlines by Random Hough Transform, then carry on regroup according to line types. We reduce a method of selecting weight iteration based on mixed least squares and total least squares, and propose its common calculation procedures and carry on accuracy evaluation, then apply this method into calculation road line type parameters in order to identify road line type.
