Abstract :
Most of Algorithms base on Huffman Coding. This Coding has good practicability, high efficiency, quick operation, and flexible implement, so it has an extensive application. Today we use this in a limited power node of wireless sensor network. Its aim is monitoring greensward in Golf course by the temperature sensor and humidity sensor to aid managers. In order to reduce redundancy, we discussed static and adaptive Huffman data compression algorithm. After analyzing their shortages, the paper showed a modified data compression algorithm by introducing NYT list and updating point B. The algorithm gained good effect on data compression application.
