Abstract :
This paper deals with reduced ML (Maximum likelihood) decoding complexity, 3/2-rate and full-diversity 4 × 3 space-time block code (STBC) which offer large coding gain. We will show through this paper that the decoding complexity of the new proposed STBC grows only cubically with the signal constellation size instead of M6 (M is the signal constellation size). Our proposed scheme also achieves a rate equal to 3/2 complex symbol per channel use.
