  • Abstract
In this article the effect of external DC magnetic field on dispersion diagram of plasmonic periodic structures will be investigated. In this regard the dispersion diagram for the Voigt and Faraday structures will be derived. Then the effect of bias field is investigated on the aforementioned structures. It is seen that tunable periodic structures can be achieved by the magnetoplasmonic configurations. Different dispersion diagram can be obtained for different modal waves. For both structures there exists transmittance band for frequencies below the plasma frequency. Dispersion diagram and effective permittivity of structures are highly depends on the bias field. For faraday structures and for the frequency band above the plasma frequency, faraday rotation and polarization conversion can be achieved depends on the operating frequencies, bias field and dispersion diagram.
