In view of this massive and rapid diffusion, we realized this survey in order to link usage characteristics and security awareness and feeling to users´ monthly spending. 7172 questionnaires from students from 17 Universities of 10 Eastern and Southern Europe countries were gathered and processed with the results showing that there is indeed a statistical connection. Additionally, in the frame of the marketing tactics of the mobile telephony companies, it will be beneficial for them to study the outcome of the statistical process we concluded, examining how the monthly bill affects an array of different characteristics of the mobile phone usage, including m-commerce.
