Abstract :
Mobile learning has been investigated from a range of perspectives, but there is little published research on usability of m-learning environments. To have successful educational m-learning it is essential to devise and implement appropriate usability testing methodologies to evaluate the usability of mobile applications. The research study contribution is the new proposed MLUAT methodology that is been shown more effective in comparison with two other existing usability methods. Additionally the research contribution is comparing the results between two usability testing methods aimed for e-learning and applied in m-learning and the one proposed by the authors called MLUAT usability testing methodology for m-learning and analyzing its efficiency. In appendix are provided the questionnaire and the table of results were the MLUAT methodology shows better results in detecting usability issues then the two existing methodologies.
