  • Abstract
    Professional training is nowadays an essential activity in any organization. This activity is particularly important in an onboarding/organizational socialization stage in which new employees should familiarize themselves with organizational praxis, values and behaviors. In this paper it is argued that the integration of new and differentiating onboarding tools and strategies, such as a serious game, has the potential of contributing for a more attractive, motivating and more effective onboarding process. Following this line of thought this paper presents the development of a serious game for PT Inovacao new employees onboarding activities and discusses data that resulted from its field trial assessment.
