Abstract :
Dyeing textiles using supercritical carbon dioxide as dye solvent instead of water developed rapidly during the last two decades, as an alternative process to eliminate the water usage and water pollution. Self-developed supercritical CO2 fluid dyeing equipment and its dyeing process were introduced in this paper. With the three-dimensional modeling software Pro/Engineer, the models of key components in supercritical CO2 dyeing equipment were built. The entity model and cutaway view of the dyeing kettle, the coloring matter kettle, the separator and the CO2 tank were obtained. Using these models, the internal structure and corresponding function of major parts were analyzed. Relying on the study, it could provide reliable models for further static stress analysis, and offer reference for supercritical fluid dyeing equipment industrialization amplification.
