Abstract
Control strategy to ensure the normal operation of manufacturing machine is investigated in the paper. With this purpose, a two-mode Markovian jump system is used to model such process, while machine´s failure and reparation are regarded as the mode switching of Markov jump system. A hybrid decision control strategy is proposed to deal with this problem. The probability of failure is decreased by adjusting the transition rate matrix, as well as an optimal control law designed. The cost performance, including the intuitive cost function of decision making, is developed. Based on this, both the optimal control law and the decision choice are obtained to achieve the optimization of manufacturing system under the high probability of stability. The numerical example shows the effectiveness of this method.
