Abstract
In this paper, we study two kinds of three-point boundary value problems for second order differential equations by using a fixed point theorem of general α-concave operators, upper-lower solution method and monotone iterative technique. We present the criteria which guarantee the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions to these differential equations. In the end, we give two examples as applications to illustrate out results.
