Abstract :
Concerning the problem of near space weapon intercepting the hypersonic speeds target, the model of the engagement was created. A algorithm of impact point prediction for intercepting using AKF (Adaptive Kalman filter, AKF) was proposed, AKF can quickly and accurately estimate trajectory in terms of the position, velocity, and flight time. The proposed algorithm can offer a near head-on homing condition before the guided missile enters the terminal phase, the aspect angle of the interceptor at lock-on near 180 degrees can achieve a small miss distance against a faster target. Numerical examples demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
