Abstract :
Optimal power allocation design for maximizing minimum rate of the reverse link of CDMA systems with QoS constraints is investigated in this paper. Majorization theory is the underlying mathematical theory on which our method hinges. We show that the optimal solution can be easily obtained with majorization theory for specific hyperplanes. Then, we propose a numerical search algorithm, which reduces the search space into one-dimensional space.
