Abstract :
This paper introduces design and implementation of a hybrid switching power system for an experimental low-power flyback converter in a solar-powered system. Multiple controlling and operating modes are used to maintain high efficiency over wide ranges of input voltages and loads. A peek current control analogue PI controller to perform precise output and control system stability is proposed and tested. The hybrid system combines analogue and digital systems together to adaptively adjust the regulator parameters to minimize the error between the desired performances. Experiment and simulation results of hybrid power system functionality are presented for a fly-back converter, which performs very good presentations.
