  • Abstract
With the increasing of real-time multimedia business in application areas of Ad Hoc networks, traditional competition-based MAC algorithm can not satisfy the QoS requirement. A STDMA slot allocation algorithm based on strategic game is proposed. The algorithm adopts dynamic control frame structure to adapt to changes of network topology. Noncooperative game model is introduced to avoid the conflict effectively. In order to achieve a better QoS guarantee, block model of information slots is used to provide differentiated services and meet the dynamic changes of traffic. The simulation result on QualNet shows that the algorithm has higher throughput and lower average access delay than IEEE 802.11 in the case of large or high-traffic networks.
