Abstract :
In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control is developed for a class of pure-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown dead zone and perturbed uncertainties using backstepping technique. The proposed adaptive fuzzy controller has a simpler form and requires only one adaptation parameter. Moreover, the investigated method design is able to guarantee that the system output converges to a small neighborhood of the reference signal and all the signals in the closed-loop system remain semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
