  • Abstract
    This paper deals with the interaction analysis of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind turbine (WT) with the electric power system during different disturbances in the grid. In the first part of the paper the modeling process of the WT with DFIG using Matlab-Simulink will be introduced and the control system will be presented. In the second part of the paper a case study including different disturbances will be carried out and evaluated. The resulting dynamic characteristic of DFIG will be presented and the main features commented upon.
