Abstract :
Thyristor soft start is the combination of computer technology and electric technical. It can set up initial torque, start time, stop time, limited flow and various protection values, etc. according to different applications. The characteristics of smooth start and not necessary to maintain contributes to the incomparable superiority over other traditional soft start methods. This thesis will adopt the vector diagram approach to analyze the work situation of all the thyristors in the control perspective scope which loads with pure resistance. Through mathematics way it is possible to derive and conclude the formula to express phase voltage and thyristor terminal voltage under all kinds of work situation, thus the theory will have further progress.
