Abstract :
The Doppler measurements can be used to improve tracking accuracy efficiently. Based on unbiased converted measurements, the statistical character of the correlated range and pseudo range rate measurement errors is deduced and a sequential filtering algorithm with Doppler is progressed. The performance such as tracking accuracy, evaluation consistency and calculation complexity is studied comparing with the traditional extended Kalman filter with Doppler. The simulation results show that the new algorithm can accommodate longer distance and bigger measurement error situation, and has higher level of accuracy, faster convergence and more reliability.
