Abstract :
The harmonic analysis of traction system input current will provide a solid theoretical basis to improve the power quality of High-speed Electric Multiple Unit (EMU). Taking CRH3 EMU for example, the input current harmonic characteristic in single-phase voltage source PWM converter is firstly analyzed based on the double Fourier series method. And then, the setting method of the carrier phase difference in the rectifier is presented. The analysis results show that the input harmonic current of traction system could be effectively reduced by controlling the carrier phase of different rectifier. The feasibility of this method is proved by the measured results at last.
