Abstract :
An experiment instrument measuring corneal curvature parameters automatically was designed based on the principle of corneal reflected imaging in this research. The method is that to project three concentric circles to eye cornea, then catoptrics imaging through cornea on CCD, Binary imaging processing calculating by general threshold method, and select Binary image from key zone characteristics, detect the outline of ellipse circle by Sobel edge extracting method, and then obtain key region skeleton through boundary smoothing and Skeleton extraction method of mathematical morphology, finally calculate the curvature parameter by least squares fit curve. It experiments by measurement standard device for keratometer. The experiment results show that the tritus full-automatic corneal curvature device complies with the national metrology verification regulations. It is convenient, fast, accurate that measuring corneal curvature parameters by full-automatic corneal curvature device.
