Abstract :
A Split-step method based on scalar Fresnel diffraction theory is used to emulate a collimated Gaussian-beam propagating through the Kolmogorov turbulent atmosphere in this paper. We acquire the distribution of irradiance and phase on the receiver aperture through choosing accurate simulation parameters. At last, the accuracy of simulation is verified through comparing the coherence factor of simulated beam field with that of theoretical field.
