  • Abstract
    This paper is concerned with the problem of applying support vector machine (SVM) in the effective assessment for full-time engineering postgraduate education. By using the SVM theory, a full-time engineering postgraduate education assessment model is developed. Based on this model, we can obtain the effective assessing results, which can be used to direct the decision-maker to make the right decision. Finally, the simulating results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed theorems.
