Abstract :
This paper contains the selection of operation parameters to monitor both steam turbine and generator in a Korea Standard Type Nuclear Power Plant. The nuclear reactor must be monitored for its safe operation. Additionally the seam turbine and generator, two important machines in nuclear power plant, must be monitored for its safe operation also. For the purpose of this, we describe here how the operating parameters were selected, reviewed, implemented into the operator console and finally put into actual operation of the power plant.
