Abstract :
Partial-response maximum likelihood equalizer is proposed to overcome reflection noise and ISI in RSOA-based WDM-PON with single-fiber configuration. 10 Gb/s upstream transmission using 1GHz RSOA with reach up to 50 km is demonstrated.
