  • Abstract
    We develop an ultra-compact 5×5 waveband cross-connect module that can process 80 channels (50 GHz spacing)/fiber employing interleavers and two component WBXCs with 100 GHz channel spacing. Its practical applicability is verified through transmission experiments.
