Abstract :
Real-time evaluation of 1072km WDM transmission of 112Gb/s PM-QPSK signals shows close penalties from non-linear impairments for 112Gb/s PM-QPSK neighbors, 43Gb/s PM-BPSK and PM-QPSK neighbors. This hints equivalent behaviors between progressive and total upgrade scenarios.
