Abstract
We proposed and fabricated an optical bistably tunable filter with cascaded Si-waveguide Fabry-Perot resonators having ferrorelectric liquid crystal cladding. An improvement of band-pass characteristics and wavelength tuning operation were obtained in the fabricated device.
