Abstract :
Coupled wave equation group of surface acoustic wave (SAW) acousto-electro-optic (AEO) effect are given and correlative conversion efficiency formula is obtained. Equidirectional SAW AEO modulator with xy-cut Lithium Niobate (xy-LN) substrate is made.
