Abstract
A low-cost differential-end TO-46 VCSEL module is proposed and the electrical performance is demonstrated through frequency-domain and time-domain simulations. The modulation bandwidth achieves 29.18-GHz and a 25-Gb/s eye diagram is clearly shown.
