Abstract :
This paper presents a novel method for evaluation of burn wound depth. The proposed method utilises a dedicated computer program which guides a physician through the entire procedure and allows the processing of infrared and visible light images of burn wounds. This software has the ability to process images taken by a wide range of commercially available infrared cameras.
