Abstract :
Conceptual design is a divergent and creative thinking process. In order to improve the creativity of conceptual design, the conceptual design model is presented in this paper based on quotient space theory. The paper adopts quotient space theory as mathematical tool to realize the formal description of grain transformation of the form and behavior. At last, an example is given to prove that it is easy to obtain the novel and creative design scheme applying the method presented in this paper.
