Abstract :
This paper presents a sensorless control strategy for a doubly fed induction machine, usually used as a generator for wind power. The proposed scheme consists of an Extended Kalman Filter fed by the voltages and currents of the stator and rotor in order to provide an estimation of the speed and position of the rotor. The simulation results prove the scheme´s feasibility over a wide range of speed and load.
