Abstract :
The paper analyses the dynamics of generator-units, as well as induction motors during impact loads. Mathematical model of integral motor drives consisting of: diesel engine, synchronous generator and motor drives has been developed. The aim is to compare torsional dynamics during direct-on-line starting of induction motors with changing loads.
