Driver is the main cause of traffic accidents, in order to avoid this, unmanned ground vehicles, which have more advantages, may take place of drivers. This article summarized further research on the processes of driving behaviors for intelligent driving based on cognitive psychology, first we built intelligent driving behavior model with construction perception, second based on “Future Challenge” contest, we investigated the features of latitudinal distance and velocity while U-Turn in intelligent driving contest. Our results describe that the intelligent vehicle does have the basic ability of cognizance, and it can make correct reactions corresponding to the driving environment, but its intelligence still needs improving.
