  • Abstract
    Electric spindle is the core component of numerical control machine. Using ceramic material which has the advantages such as small density and light quality to make it can not only improve its own dynamic response ability but also improve the manufacturing quality of the machine tool. However, the electric spindle vibration can also influence the processability of the machine tool directly, so it´s necessary to analyse the influencing factors that can cause that. There are lots of factors should be responsible for the vibration of the electric spindle, and one of them comes from the transducer which is used to control it. This´s because the inverter output voltage contains a lot of harmonic composition which can cause the electromagnetic vibration. In this paper, harmonic simulation analysis of the inverter output voltage and vibration testing experiment of the ceramic electric spindle were made follow by analysing and verifying the influence of the harmonic on ceramic electric spindle´s vibration through comparing the simulation result with the experimental result.
