Abstract :
In order to get useful information from mass data of cable digital television to support TV station´s decision analysis, we present a lightweight cable digital television data analysis system. The system is based on the partition technology of SQL Server 2005 Database, and the data is collected by the set-top boxes of the digital TV. This paper elaborately discusses the architecture and the functional modules of the data analysis system, and emphasizes the storage management of the mass data and the optimization of the stored procedure. Through test, the system is proved to have a good performance on data processing and analysis, and it meets the need of the TV station.
