Abstract :
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is mainly used for solving the problems such as archiving, showing, storing, communication and management of the medical pictures, etc. This system can save the consumption of the film and decrease the cost, it can also improve the diagnose performance and efficiency. It is inevitable trend of information technology based development of the hospital in the future. Through the research and analysis of DICOM standard and HL7 standard, we set the DICOM/HL7 Gateway and design an arithmetic of parsing and constructing messages, and realizing the exchange of the messages about the patient update information, doctor´s diagnose with HIS/RIS and PACS. We realize the integration of HIS/RIS and PACS through the gateway.
