Abstract :
They were the important problems needed to solve on improving use efficiency of agricultural resources and agricultural technical efficiency for developing countries at present. Technical efficiency and Scale efficiency of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities were appraised by method of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) from 2002 to 2005 in China in the paper. The following conclusions were obtained. Agricultural technical efficiency was showed descending trend in our country. At the same time, technical efficiencies in the areas were different. Downside areas of agricultural scale efficiency were increasing. The results were showed more investments, downside use efficiency of factors and ratio unbalance between input-output in agriculture of our country.
