Abstract :
The expressway user´s locating problems confront the customer service center of expressway while rescued in the traffic accidents and emergencies are presented. The deficiencies of the current road network´s naming and coding rules were analyzed when used in the accurate posting on the driving direction, ramp, interchange and overpass etc. Based on the unified national rules for road network´ naming and coding, a set of accurate road network´s locating signs were put forward including four major elements which are road code, hectometer number, driving direction and transmission verification. The coding regulationes, methods about making and installing were also provided in detail, thus would help the managements get user´s position fast and accurately, and guide the rescuers reach the scene as fast as possible.
