Abstract
This paper explains the potential role of HAP network for providing air traffic control(ATC) and air passenger communication services(APC) in aeronautical communication. An improved ant routing algorithm based on delay of node is presented, which is used to find the shortest path from source to destination and satisfy the QoS metrics. Simulations have been performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. The results show that the proposed algorithm could significantly reduce call blocking probability in aeronautical communication.
