Abstract :
In this paper, we take a deep look into the concepts of gray linguistic set and gray linguistic numbers. Aiming at solving multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) problems in which the criteria weights are unknown, the total deviation is firstly maximized. Then the gray relative analysis method (GRAM) is applied, and finally we obtain the relative gray correlation in order to compare the result. The example shown at last illustrates the whole idea and expresses the availability and feasibility of this method.
