Core competence evaluation of paper making enterprises — An empirical analysis based on the listed companies

The study constructs an evaluation system of core competence of paper making companies based on the traditional core competence theory. By analyzing the data of listed paper making companies with factor analysis model, ten indicators are integrated into four factors, namely Value, Growth, Integration and Uniqueness which constructs the core competence of paper making companies. The results showed that Sun Paper Stock Co. Ltd, Huatai Stock Co. Ltd, Chenming Paper Holdings Co. Ltd, Yinge Industrial Investment Co. Ltd and Bohui Paper Industry Co. Ltd have core competence. Last, the study evaluates the origin of the core competence of paper making companies.
