Abstract :
Based on the current situation which the bucket wheel excavator systems can´t been arranged according to the previous design scheme at Heidaigou Open-pit Coal Mine, three feasible alternatives to arrange bucket wheel excavator systems are put forward. Then their reliability is calculated, and the optimal alternative is recommended according to the calculated reliability. Finally the economic benefit is estimated if the recommend alternative were put in practice.
