Abstract :
This paper firstly analyzed serious of problems in the development of TD-SCDMA. Secondly, through the questionnaire, the China Mobile TD-SCDMA´ (the most influential telecom operators) and the 3G iPhone´ impact on the development of 3G are analyzed, finding mobile terminals have a “Hold-up” effect on TD development. At last, the paper gets a conclusion that the market rather than the technology is the key factor in the 3G, and even in 4G era.
